Use appropriately the update links between 8D and the FMEA to confirm the risks of an action plan decision, then update the Control Plan and the instruction sheets

Know the IATF 16949: 2016 problem solving requirements (Chap 10.2.3), in the context of the organizing company.

Know the specifics of the 8D method and its differences compared to other problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, A3, QRQC, etc.).

Each participant should have a PC with MS Excel (2007 or later) installed and ready to be used.

For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.

Methods of evaluation training:

  • Level assessment quizzes for each participant at the beginning and end of the training session.
  • Cold evaluation questionnaire for the training achievement completed 3 months after training, by each participant, with their hierarchy. The goal is to confirm with them the usefulness of the training at their workstation and to plan the necessary follow up actions
  • Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each participant.

Minimum 1-year experience in production, project, method, quality, engineering in industry.
