Understand the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and its requirements. Know how to build a PPAP file from the APQP process, on the product applications of the organizing company.

Know the details of the various deliverables in the PPAP file.

Know the structure and content of a PPAP file, know its rating rules in order to build it optimally from the data from the APQP.

Know how to lead the PPAP submission and approval process in the context of the organizing company.

Understand the sequence of the different steps of the APQP and how they result in building the PPAP file, their consistency and maturity levels of the associated deliverables in relation to the end-of-project objectives:

• Feedback, assessment and corrective action

Understand and know how to implement, in the context of the organizing company, the IATF 16949 requirements as well as the “Customer Specific Requirements” regarding the PPAP.

Training adapted “tailor-made” and focused on internal processes and standard documents of the organizing company (case studies used if necessary).

Training focused on exercises applied to the different parts of the PPAP, refocused in the context of the company (Group work, analysis of customer deliverables, etc.).

Theoretical parts organized in a dynamic and interactive way (mini workshops in sub-groups, quizzes, questions, etc.).

This training includes post training support for a period of 6 months (email exchanges, webinars, phone, response time depending on the trainer’s availability).

For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.

Each participant receives a training manual in English as well as exercise and workshop files used during the session.

Methods of evaluation training:

• Level assessment quizzes for each participant at the beginning and end of the training session.
• Cold evaluation questionnaire for the training achievement completed 3 months after training, by each participant, with their hierarchy. The goal is to confirm with them the usefulness of the training at their workstation and to plan the necessary follow up actions
• Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each participant.

Anyone likely to lead or take part in the implementation or utilization of a PPAP in his company.

Minimum 1-year experience in production, project, methods, quality, engineering, sales in the automotive industry.

Experience with the organizing company’s products and manufacturing processes.
