Overall objectives
- Be able to manage an industrial project in the context of the organizing company.
Learning operational objectives
- Know how to develop a project in the context of the organizing company, its main steps and activities.
- Know the role and responsibilities of a project manager in each of the main activities of a project (preparation, planning, risk management, economic management, technical management, communication, capitalization).
- Piloter efficacement les risques et opportunités du projet.
- Avoid pitfalls during the definition and planning of the industrial project to limit potential problems during its development.
- For the automotive industry: Integrate [b]APQP and the Core Tools[b] into your project management methods.
- Implement effective financial management of the project.
- Implement a relevant dashboard for effective internal and external communication.
- Close a project and implement capitalization loops during the industrialization project, to ensure improvement from project to project.
The "Pluses" of the training session
- Training "tailored" on internal product/process cases, on project management tools and industrial tools used in the organizing company (if available).
- Training focused on the realization of workshops applied to the different steps of an industrial project within the organizing company.
- Theoretical parts organized in a dynamic and interactive way (workshops in subgroups, quizzes, questions, etc.).
- This training includes a 6-months period of post training support (email exchanges, webinars, phone, response time depending on the trainer’s availability).
Organization and resources
- Each attendee receives a training manual in English as well as exercise and workshop files used during the session.
- For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.
Evaluation mode
- Level assessment quizzes for each attendee at the beginning and the end of the training session.
- Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each attendee at the end of the training.
- Cold evaluation questionnaire, to evaluate achievements realized after the training completed 3 months after training, by each attendee, with their hierarchy.
Targeted audience
- Anyone wishing to get involved in the management of a product or process industrialization project.
Prerequisite
- Participants should have an experience of the products and manufacturing processes of the company organizing the training.
- At least 1 year professional experience in either production, project management, industrial engineering, quality, product design and engineering.
Trainer profile
- General Engineer (Centrale).
- 20 years of automotive industry experience (manufacturer and supplier) in project management, purchasing and product / process design methodology (Functional analysis, DFMEA, PFMEA, supplier quality, etc.).
