Overall objectives
- Know how to implement the requirements of IATF 16949 in a way that brings optimal benefits to your industrial organization.
Learning operational objectives
- Practice the implementation of these requirements in the context of the organizing company through role-playing, workshops, exercises, led in turn by the participants, under the moderation of the trainer.
- Know how to allow the organization to progress by implementing actions that improve the efficiency and performance of processes.
- Master the new concepts introduced by IATF 16949: 2016 and their applications in the different parts of the QMS (Quality Management System), in particular:
- Risk-based approach.
- Process-based approach.
- Continuous improvement.
- Customer Specific Requirements.
- Products Safety.
- Requirements related to traceability.
- Core Tools & statistical tools (see associated additional training on the subject).
- Competence of internal auditors (see associated additional training on the subject).
The "Pluses" of the training session
- Theoretical parts organized in a dynamic and interactive way (workshops in subgroups, quizzes, questions, etc.).
- Training "tailor-made" adapted and focused on internal processes and standard documents of the organizing company (case studies used if necessary).
- This training includes a 6-months period of post training support (email exchanges, webinars, phone, response time depending on the trainer’s availability).
Organization and resources
- For face-to-face training, the room must have a video projector as well as a flipchart and a whiteboard with coloured markers in working order.
- The attendees must dispose of a laptop computer, connected to the internet, with MS Excel 2007 or more installed.
- Each attendee receives a training manual in English as well as exercise and workshop files used during the session.
Evaluation mode
- Hot satisfaction questionnaire completed by each attendee at the end of the training.
- Cold evaluation questionnaire, to evaluate achievements realized after the training completed 3 months after training, by each attendee, with their hierarchy.
- Level assessment quizzes for each attendee at the beginning and the end of the training session.
Targeted audience
- Any person involved in the implementation or operation of an IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System.
Prerequisite
- To have an experience in customer/system/supplier quality in the manufacturing industry.
- Be familiar with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Trainer profile
- More than 30 years of experience in Quality Management in the automotive industry.
- Certified lead IATF 16949 auditor. Or Trainer validated by a certified lead IATF 16949 auditor.
- Involved during more than 10 years on the implementation of IATF 16949 requirements in the organization of tier 1 automotive suppliers.
